Apple TV+ — Prehistoric Planet

Project overview
For the launch of the Apple TV+ series Prehistoric Planet, just 11 Apple Store locations worldwide were selected to receive a large-scale experiential graphic installation. The Sydney installation was completed overnight, immediately ahead of the series screening.

The challenge
The installation involved a 15-person crew + security, working across an eight-hour window with two scissor lifts. Every graphic element needed to align precisely across the store façade, while the work also had to comply with City of Sydney requirements governing installation times and the maximum permitted weight of access equipment.

My role
I led the planning and delivery of the installation, coordinating stakeholders, production partners, site access, scheduling, equipment and the installation team. Careful preparation was essential to ensure the creative intent could be delivered accurately, safely and within the restricted overnight window.

Contingency planning‍ ‍
Two complete sets of graphics were produced. With no opportunity to delay or repeat the installation before the screening, this contingency was critical to managing production and installation risk.

Delivery
The installation was completed within the eight-hour schedule, with all elements accurately aligned and the site ready for the launch. The project demonstrated the importance of combining creative precision with detailed operational planning, regulatory coordination and practical contingency management.
